No SMS permission
AlertPaisa never asks to read your SMS, OTPs or chats. Only notifications from payment apps you choose.

Tells you when alerts are off
If notification access is turned off, you see a red warning and the total is marked as possibly incomplete.

Flags possible duplicates
A payment that looks like a repeat is marked “Possible duplicate”, so you can check before counting it twice.

Your bank app is the final word
Receipts say “not yet verified with bank”. Notifications are fast, but your bank or UPI app confirms settlement.

What does AlertPaisa do?
It turns your Android phone into a soundbox. When PhonePe, Google Pay or Paytm shows a payment notification, AlertPaisa says the amount out loud and adds it to your collection list.
Do I need to buy a soundbox?
No. It runs on the Android phone you already use for payments.
Which languages can it speak?
English, Hindi, Hinglish, Marathi, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali and Punjabi. The voice comes from Google Text-to-Speech on your phone.
Does it read my SMS or OTPs?
No. It never asks for SMS permission, and it only reads notifications from the payment apps you switch on.
A payment wasn't announced. What should I check?
Open Permissions & health in the app. It checks notification access, payment apps, battery optimisation, autostart, voice and volume. Your bank or UPI app is always the source of truth for settlement.
Can my staff hear payments on their phones?
Yes. Create a team and share the 6-digit team code with your staff.
Will the ₹1 really be refunded?
Yes. The ₹1 verification payment is refunded to the same account within 24 hours.
