Free trial and the ₹1 check
- Every new subscription starts with a 1 day free trial.
- To start, you set up UPI AutoPay with a ₹1 verification payment. This ₹1 is refunded to the same account within 24 hours.
- If you cancel before the trial ends, you are not charged. Alerts stay on until the trial ends.
- If you do not cancel, your plan starts when the trial ends and renews automatically through UPI AutoPay.
How to cancel
Use either of these:
- In the AlertPaisa app, go to Settings → Subscription → Cancel subscription.
- Or revoke the AlertPaisa AutoPay mandate in your UPI app.
After you cancel:
- There is no cancellation fee.
- Alerts stay on until your paid-through date.
- You are not charged again.
- Your payment history and team are kept.
Refunds
- Once a paid period has started, it is not refunded. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and you keep alerts until the end of the period you paid for.
- Wrong, duplicate or unauthorised debits are always refunded in full.
- The ₹1 verification payment is refunded within 24 hours.
- Approved refunds go back to the original payment method, usually within 5 to 7 working days.
Report a wrong debit
Email contact@alertpaisa.in within 30 days of the debit. Include:
- Your registered phone number.
- The transaction reference (UTR) from your bank or UPI app.
- The date and amount of the debit.
We acknowledge within 48 hours and resolve within 30 days. You can also raise a complaint in your UPI app or with your bank.
If a renewal fails
If a renewal payment fails, alerts pause. To keep alerts on, make sure your AutoPay mandate is active.
Prices
Planned launch pricing is ₹99 a month or ₹999 a year. The final price is shown in the app before you pay. Prices shown in the app are final and include applicable taxes. More details are in our Terms of Service.
